The Craft of Reading

Surround yourself with books, good books, and never stop searching the unknown. Read books to keep in touch with happenings of time past, understand the mysteries of now, and prepare your steps for the direction in which the world is going.

Find friends to talk about your pastimes with, human diaries, literature and arts enthusiasts. Write down important texts, quotes, and passages that resonate. Go back to them ever so often to refresh your memory and remember the lessons. That’s what Voltaire did. Keynes. Even Leonardo.

That’s how you take care of your heart and soul in the changing fortunes of time. That’s how you stay grounded with your passion and desires amidst the sickly aims of life.

That’s how you sow seeds and groom them ’til they grow like giant Sequoias — firm, unshakable, solid, poised, and rooted in grounds of truth and wisdom. ’Til your mind become a treasure with value, and essence to the world around you — like Tesla, Schumpeter, and King JR.

Happy New Week ❤️
